A trauma response can be from childhood or from a traumatic experience in adulthood. As an Awakened Individual you will still experience trauma responses if you have been exposed to trauma at some point in your life. Remember being Awakened is not about being perfect. You will still have a human experience including any trauma responses that you have acrued. Your method of dealing with these responses will differ from those who are not Awakened as you will be able to sit with the sensations instead of allowing them to inform your everyday actions or Karma. When experiencing a Trauma response take care of yourself until it has passed. Remember it is a response to something which has passed and no longer needs to be acted upon. Trauma is a reaction and can be mastered through time and patience. take time relax into any trauma responses. They will clear as you become more acclimatised to the trauma inducing situation. Remove yourself as much as possible from the stimuli but also expose yourself to any stimuli gentely so that your body and nervous system can understand it is not under threat. As you do this you will become more acclimatised to the stimuli.
