The Sage, The Guru and the Mystic

It is much recorded that in antiquity Sages, Gurus and Mystics had super natural access to the Spiritual realm. This often embodied itself as being a clearer understanding of conciousness and a detatachment from the every day. Often these such individuals would isolate themselves from every day society in order to enhance this connection. Today we are seeing that there is no particular need for isolation as in those distant days. Why should this be you might be asking. Well Spirituality has moved on as with most human processes. It is not necccessary to be totally isolated to take advantage of the connection with the divine that was reserved for those who could adhere to strict spiritual practices such as Sages, Gurus and Mystics. Remember that as a Higher Power it is our wish that more and more of Humanity wake up to the present moment and ascend to other levels of Spiritual maturity. You can now still work and play as a unawakened human and have a spiritual experience at the same time. This is important because your higher power wishes for spirituality to be normalised. Back in the past it was only the chosen few who had access to this type of enlightenment. Now enlightenment is a connective activity to be experienced by the many under very normal conditions.
